Bulawayo Book Fair Returns to Hillside Park with 60 Exhibitors

The Bulawayo Book Fair, organised by the Bulawayo Publishers Association, returns to Hillside Park on the weekend of 18-19 April. Sixty exhibitors are confirmed, including major Zimbabwean publishers, smaller township-based independents, and a handful of South African and Botswana titles.

Headline events include a Saturday morning panel on Ndebele-language children’s literature, an afternoon poetry reading curated by House of Hunger Poetry, and a Sunday writing workshop for aspiring journalists.

Children’s programming runs throughout both days, with a free reading corner, storytelling sessions in isiNdebele and English, and a popular author meet-and-greet schedule.
